The BGMI x CarryMinati collaboration is now live, turning popular Indian creator Ajey Nagar into a playable in-game character. The limited-time event adds a CarryMinati boss encounter, a chaotic 2v2 WOW map, themed cosmetics, voice packs, and an exchange system.

The crossover launched on August 15 as part of BGMI 4.5 and will remain available until September 13, 2026. That gives players a few weeks to fight the boss, complete challenges, collect tokens, and unlock available rewards.

What’s New in the BGMI x CarryMinati Event?

This collaboration goes beyond placing CarryMinati’s face on a promotional poster. KRAFTON has built a playable experience around the creator, with content spread across Classic mode and the World of Wonder ecosystem.

The main additions include:

  • CarryMinati as a playable BGMI character
  • A special boss encounter on Erangel and Livik
  • A CarryMinati-themed 2v2 WOW map
  • CarryMinati Tokens and an Exchange Event
  • Two major character outfits
  • Weapon, vehicle, grenade and backpack skins
  • CarryMinati and NotYourType voice packs
  • A themed emote and collectible cards

KRAFTON calls this the first time an Indian content creator has entered BGMI as a fully playable character instead of appearing through a simple cameo. The company’s official announcement confirms that the event and its rewards will remain live through September 13.

How the CarryMinati Boss Fight Works

The CarryMinati Boss appears in Classic mode on the Erangel and Livik maps. Players can assemble a squad, locate the encounter during a match, and work together to defeat him.

Winning the fight rewards players with CarryMinati Tokens. Selected missions in the Play & Win section also provide tokens, giving players another route if they don’t want to rely entirely on boss encounters.

Collected tokens can be spent through the dedicated CarryMinati Exchange Event. The exact rewards and token requirements appear inside the event centre, so check the exchange page before spending anything.

Squad Boss Strategy

It’s worth preparing for the boss before rushing into the encounter. Carry enough ammunition, healing items and at least one weapon that can sustain damage without constant reloading. Keep an eye out for enemy squads too—the boss may be the advertised threat, but Classic mode remains a competitive match.

CarryMinati WOW Map Explained

The new World of Wonder map is a fast-paced 2v2 Team Deathmatch experience. Instead of the slower looting and survival rhythm of Classic mode, it focuses on close-range shotgun fights.

Interactive traps add another layer to each round. Players need to watch their surroundings rather than simply pushing directly toward the opposing team.

The smaller format makes this a good mode for friends who want quick matches or clips without committing to a full Battle Royale session. You can access it through BGMI’s WOW section or use the event banner if it appears on your home screen.

"Personally, this is the most interesting part of the collaboration. Creator crossovers often stop after adding an outfit and a paid crate; a custom mode gives players something new to do even if they don’t care about collecting skins."

Every Major CarryMinati Skin and Reward

NotYourType, an Indian animation creator, designed the complete Frost-and-Flame CarryMinati Collection. Its visual style mixes icy blue armour with red, gold and flame-inspired details.

The main items include:

  • CarryMinati Set: A streetwear-inspired character outfit
  • Cryo King Set: Ice-themed armour with golden details
  • Cryo Fire UMP45: A themed weapon finish
  • Cryo Runner Buggy: A matching vehicle skin
  • Cryo Blast Grenade: A frost-and-flame throwable cosmetic
  • Cryo Core Backpack: A themed backpack design
  • CarryMinati Emote
  • CarryMinati Voice Pack
  • NotYourType Voice Pack
  • CarryMinati Recall Tower Voice
  • CarryMinati Card Collection

These items don’t all unlock simply by defeating the boss once. Some rewards are connected to the exchange event, while premium cosmetics may require the CarryMinati Spin and UC.

Players can obtain discount vouchers worth 20, 30 or 50 UC for the spin. According to TalkEsport’s event breakdown, each voucher can be used up to five times per account.

UC Spending Caution

Always inspect the draw rules and item probabilities before spending UC. A discount makes a spin cheaper; it doesn’t guarantee the outfit or weapon skin you want.

How Long Is the Event Available?

The main collaboration runs from August 15 to September 13, 2026. Individual missions, exchange rewards, cards, or spin pages may display slightly different closing times, so use the countdown shown inside BGMI as the final deadline.

Quick Start Checklist

  1. Update BGMI to version 4.5
  2. Open the Events section
  3. Select the CarryMinati event banner
  4. Review the Play & Win missions
  5. Enter Classic mode for the boss fight or WOW for the 2v2 map
  6. Exchange earned tokens before they expire

Why This Collaboration Matters

CarryMinati becoming a playable avatar is a notable step for India-focused BGMI content. More importantly, KRAFTON has supported the collaboration with actual gameplay rather than relying solely on paid cosmetics.

My verdict is positive: the boss fight and 2v2 map make this one of BGMI’s more engaging creator crossovers, although players should remain cautious about spending UC on random draws.
